When I first set out to visit Al Mamzar Park, I was very excited to visit this beach park. Al Mamzar Beach Park is located on the north-eastern edge of the Dubai-Sharjah border, to be precise; the park is located in the residential area of Al Mamzar. What sets it apart from the hustle and bustle of city life, with the Arabian Sea on one side and lush green landscape on the other, makes it a perfect place to relax. You can go to this beach park by using public transport or by your own car. I am giving details below.

By Public Transport:

If you prefer to travel by public transport, then Dubai Metro and buses will help you a lot in this journey. I boarded the Dubai Metro Green Line and got off at Al Qiyadah Station. From there, I took bus number C28, which took me directly to the park. The bus journey was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the views of the transformation from the crowded city to the coastal area.

By Car:

A friend works in Dubai; when I visited him, he took me to this park in his car, and I drove the car. From central Dubai, I proceeded along the D95 route, which took me straight to the park. The drive was very pleasant, as the road was very easy and very clean. Spot signs were guiding me all the way, and it depends on the traffic how long it takes you to reach this park. I reached this park after just 30 minutes of pleasant driving.

Parking Facilities:

The thing that impresses me the most about this park is its secure parking facility with several parking lots in and around the park even on busy weekdays. The lot is conveniently located near the main entrance, so you don’t have to walk far to get to the beach or picnic area.

Park Overview: Al Mamzar Beach Park:

When I stepped into Al Mamzar Beach Park, I felt like I had entered a coastal paradise. The park is spread over an area of more than 106 hectares and is divided into different areas. The main entrance took me through a very beautiful landscaped garden surrounded by lots of palm trees and flower gardens, which I found very beautiful.

When I entered the park and started touring the surrounding areas, I found that the park is neatly divided into different zones. And it has five old beaches, and each beach has golden sand and clear water. The central part of the park is dedicated to picnics and barbeques. A very nice family gathering, and if you are travelling in a group, then it is a very nice place for you to have a picnic and play various kinds of outdoor activities. There are plenty of seating areas around and beautiful palm trees overhead that give you shade.

If you’re not into beach bathing, there are two swimming pool complexes within the park, each with multiple pools suitable for all ages. There is a nice playground nearby where the kids were playing, and the park also has a cycling and jogging track where you can do activities like cycling, jogging, etc.

Main Attractions in Al Mamzar Beach Park:

Of course, the beach is one of the main attractions here. Every beach here is very safe and offers you a very relaxing experience. The beach is well stocked with many changing rooms, showers, and like guard stations. I spent some time at the beach, which particularly impressed me. Many people came here with their families, and they were enjoying themselves, and children were building sand castles along the beach.

A variety of water activities are offered here, especially for those who come to explore the water activities in the park. I tried various water activities here. Like Jet Skiing and Banana Rite, I had great experiences. Almost all the activities that I was able to try when I travelled to Goa a few days back can be done here as well.

Basically, this park has many attractions. And among all these attractions, the park’s amphitheatre caught my eye. Where local performances and various events are held. When I visited, some local artists were having an event here, and everyone was flocking to watch the live event here.

Near the amphitheatre, I found several barbecue areas equipped with a grill and picnic tables. A perfect place to cook with friends and family. Many people were having a picnic here with their relatives. This place seems to be the 3rd best on my list of main attractions here.

Water Sports and Activities:

When I entered Al Mamzar Beach Park and after walking for a while, the thing that caught my eye was the sparkling blue water. I heard a lot about different water sports here. There are various water spots like banana riding, speed board riding, kayaking, etc. Besides, many people come here to try the famous water sports.

My first stop was jet skiing. I have been jet skiing many times before, but the experience at Al Mamzar was very important to me. The water was so calm and the sky was clear, and I felt the thrill of speeding across the surface; it was so exhilarating. If you don’t want to try jet skiing, don’t worry because there are many other water sports you can do here, and many are available for rent.

Playgrounds and Picnic Areas:

After I tried all the water activities, I moved on to some of the main attractions in the park. In the middle of the park, there is a large field and picnic area, shelters for families, and several small playgrounds. So that children can play there. It is not an ordinary playground. The grounds are equipped with various rides, such as swings, slides, and climbing frames, with many seating areas around. I saw the kids playing well and their parents sitting next to them relaxing, and this park is a great option for a family day out.

I then headed towards the picnic area. Al Mamzar Beach Park has a complete picnic section with barbecue grill-tables and shaded seating. I saw a group of people next to them enjoying themselves by barbecuing and grilling chicken. I felt great when I had a good walk around the neighbourhood and went to the beachside to relax. And I sat there and started eating the lunch I had brought in my bag. Along with the food, the sound of the sea waves and the swaying of the palm trees, besides being mesmerising, was also mesmerising; you won’t realise how time flies here.

Fitness trails and cycling paths

After lunch, I usually go for a walk or decide to burn some calories. So, after eating and drinking, I went to explore the fitness trails. These trails are well maintained, with many people cycling through the park. Seeing that also made me want to do some cycling, I rented a bike from the garage and wandered around the park and loved it. The park has designated trails for running and cycling. I noticed several people renting bikes and coming along the trail. Some ride with kids in tow. This is a great way to tour the entire park.

Hotels Near Al Mamzar Beach Park:

When I went here, I knew that I would not be able to fully enjoy the beauty of this park without spending some time here. So, I stayed for a few days in some hotels near here. And while finding the perfect place to stay has been a challenge for me, I’ve found some great hotels and resorts around the park that I’m excited to share with you.

Nearby Hotels and Resorts:

For my hotel-hunting habits, I found some great hotel options around. The closest and most convenient choice was Movenpick Hotel Apartments Al Mamzar Dubai, located a short distance from the park. This hotel was a favourite because it offered the luxury of a resort while being close to the sea, with a beautiful swimming pool and terrace offering stunning views of the city.

If you are looking for a little luxury hotel, then the Hyatt Regency Dubai in Deira is a fantastic option. Although this hotel is located a little far from the park, there is a spa, multiple dining options, and the rooms with panoramic views are so beautiful that I cannot tell you. Although I did not stay at this hotel this time. But I discussed this hotel for a long time with other travellers who stayed at it. And they told me so much about this hotel that I could tell you so much. Then, according to your budget, you can stay in this five-star hotel.

Budget-Friendly Stays and Luxury Options:

Although these high-end hotels are very tempting, I was on a bit of a budget on my trip. So, I was looking around for a cheaper hotel, and then I found this Fortune Plaza Hotel. Which is very budget-friendly and convenient, located near the park, and priced right for a traveler like me who spends most of the time walking around rather than staying in a hotel.

For those looking to splurge, Raffles Dubai can be the perfect hotel. Located a short distance from the park. But this hotel will provide you with an unmatched luxury experience. The theme of the hotel is ancient Egyptian architecture, so beautiful that you will feel like you are sitting in Egypt. Known for great service and beautiful rooms, this is the place you go when you want to treat yourself to something extraordinary.

Tips for Booking the Best Accommodation:

Whenever you book a hotel, book early. Because hotels close to the park can fill up quickly, especially during peak season, you should book hotels almost a month in advance.

See, I have travelled many places, and I am giving you these tips with my experience. You can use online websites to book hotels; I mainly use two websites like booking.com and Agoda. You can choose the hotel of your choice using these two websites. There are some deals, like last-night deals and more; if you are lucky, you can get a 50% or 40% discount on the hotel.
